We need the candidate to have a strong mechanical knowledge. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for fabricating components and ensuring they meet the required specifications
The Job
* Operate Horizontal Boring Machines to produce medium to heavy workpieces
* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in fabrication
* Self-inspect work
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
* Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality
About you
* Candidate must have proven experience of setting and operating manual horizontal boring machines or have a turning background.
* Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces.
* Have the ability to self-inspect.
* Be willing to work overtime when needed.
