We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join an established, dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing effective design solutions to technical problems within a design office environment. Key Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility will be to produce detailed design drawings using Inventor suitable for construction in a timely manner.
- You will collaborate on larger projects, ensuring the accuracy of colleagues' work and identifying potential discrepancies.
- This role will involve training and supporting less experienced staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Conduct site visits and surveys as required, while maintaining a working knowledge of statutory regulations and codes of practice.
- Additionally, the Mechanical Design Engineer will design and detail both bespoke and standard equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Inventor and 3D design software is essential for the Mechanical Design Engineer role.
- Candidates should have a strong understanding of statutory regulations and codes of practice, including EN standards and CE marking.
- Experience in designing bespoke and standard equipment is highly desirable.
- Effective communication skills are necessary for collaboration with team members and other departments.
- A strong ability to produce accurate and detailed design drawings is required.
