The Opportunity
We are looking for an ARB-qualified Architect to join our Leeds office, playing a key role in the delivery of education, public and commercial sector projects across Yorkshire and the wider UK.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact school and education developments, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative design solutions from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on architectural design and delivery of projects across all RIBA stages
* Translate client requirements into practical, compliant design solutions
* Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications and construction information
* Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, DfE guidance and relevant industry standards
* Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget
* Engage and nurture client/stakeholder relationships
* Support planning and statutory submissions
* Attend and lead meetings, design workshops and stakeholder consultations
* Promote sustainability and efficiency in all design solutions
* Contribute to successful project outcomes through strong coordination and communication
* Help develop and provide training for junior team members
Skills & Experience
* Fully qualified Architect and ARB registered.
* Strong UK project experience, ideally within education, public sector and commercial projects
* Knowledge of education design standards and building bulletins (desirable)
* Proficiency in Revit/CAD and associated design tools
* Strong technical capability across multiple RIBA stages
* Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery environments
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary consultancy environment
* Willingness to travel throughout the UK when needed to support regional offices
