Senior Customer Service Executive

Are you an experienced Customer Service professional looking for your next challenge within a successful and growing manufacturing business? Our client is seeking a Senior Customer Service Executive to support the Customer Services Manager and play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience across a global customer base.

The Role

As a Senior Customer Service Executive, you will act as a key point of contact for customers while supporting and guiding the wider Customer Service team. You will work closely with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics and other internal departments to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently and enquiries are resolved promptly.

This is a varied position where you will help drive continuous improvement, support key customer accounts, and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Customer Services Manager in day-to-day operations and team activities.
Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing a first-class service experience.
Work closely with Sales teams to support key accounts and identify opportunities to enhance customer relationships.
Liaise with internal departments including Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Logistics to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
Act as the voice of the customer, identifying and removing barriers that impact the customer journey.
Recommend and support process improvements within the Customer Service function.
Produce reports and analyse data to support business decisions.
Assist with projects and additional tasks as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience within a Customer Service, Account Management or Order Management role in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with international customers and complex order processes.
Strong ERP/CRM system experience (SAP or similar).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
A continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
