Job Title: General Labourer
Location: Swindon (SN6)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to assist with day-to-day operations. The role involves manual handling, loading and unloading materials, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and supporting skilled workers and supervisors as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Load, unload, move, and organise materials and equipment.
Assist tradespeople and other workers with general tasks.
Keep work areas clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
Use basic hand tools and equipment safely.
Carry out manual handling and lifting duties.
Follow instructions from supervisors and site managers.
Sort, remove, and dispose of waste appropriately.
Help with deliveries, stock movement, and general site preparation.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Perform other general duties as required.Requirements:
Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
CSCS required.
Asbestos Awareness preferred.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
Previous labouring or construction experience is advantageous but not always required.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Relevant health and safety training or certifications are an advantage.
