Major Healthcare Project | Full-Time
I'm recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to join a leading engineering contractor delivering a major healthcare project in London.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on a flagship hospital project, overseeing mechanical installation works from first fix through to commissioning and handover while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and programme delivery.
As Mechanical Site Supervisor, you'll manage the day-to-day mechanical installation activities on site, coordinating subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise mechanical installation works from site start through to commissioning and handover.
* Coordinate mechanical subcontractors and direct labour.
* Review drawings, specifications, and installation programmes.
* Monitor site progress and report against project milestones.
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients.
* Ensure the highest standards of Health & Safety and quality.
* Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover.
* Resolve technical and installation issues on site.
* Maintain site records, inspections, permits, and progress reports.
* Drive productivity, quality, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
* Relevant Mechanical qualification or recognised mechanical trade background.
* Previous experience as a Mechanical Site Supervisor or Mechanical Foreman.
* Strong experience managing mechanical subcontractors and installation teams.
* Good understanding of construction Health & Safety regulations.
* Previous experience on healthcare, commercial, or large-scale construction projects.
* SSSTS or SMSTS desirable.
* Valid CSCS, Safe Pass, or equivalent.
