The Role
As a Foreman / General Foreman, you will play a key role in coordinating site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. You will lead site teams, manage day-to-day activities and work closely with Site Agents, Engineers and project management teams.
Responsibilities
Managing and supervising direct labour and subcontractors on site.
Organising works, logistics and resources to achieve programme milestones.
Ensuring all activities are carried out in line with health, safety and environmental requirements.
Delivering daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inductions.
Monitoring productivity and quality standards.
Supporting site management with planning and progress reporting.
Promoting a positive safety culture across the project.
Maintaining excellent communication between site teams and project stakeholders.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Foreman or General Foreman on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
Strong background in earthworks, drainage, structures, highways or reinforced concrete works.
Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor is highly desirable.
CSCS required.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to drive programme delivery whilst maintaining the highest safety standards
£375.00 - £400.00 per day
