Colmore Education are currently recruiting for an experienced and committed Geography Teacher to join a secondary school in North Birmingham on an immediate-start basis.
The school is seeking a confident teacher who can deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4, whilst maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement.
This role is not suitable for ECTs.
🌎 The Role
* Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4
* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
* Prepare and support students through GCSE examinations
* Monitor and assess student progress
* Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with the Geography department
* Contribute to the wider life of the school
⭐ The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
* QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Proven experience teaching Geography within a secondary school
* Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* The ability to engage, motivate and challenge students
* A professional and enthusiastic approach
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Previous secondary school teaching experience is essential. ECT applications will not be considered for this position.
