The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team based in Halesworth on a full-time, temporary to permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist the Warehouse Manager with all warehouse operations and site maintenance activities.
* Receive, book in and store goods accurately and efficiently.
* Supply raw materials and finished goods to the Production department as required.
* Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure stock is stored correctly.
* Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts where authorised.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
* Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
* Carry out a variety of warehouse duties to support the efficient running of the operation.
The ideal candidate must have:
* Previous experience within a busy warehouse environment, ideally within manufacturing.
* Experience using a computerised warehouse management system.
* A valid UK Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
* Ideally hold a Bendi and/or Reach Forklift Licence.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Good literacy and numeracy skills.
* A self-motivated attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* The flexibility to undertake a wide range of warehouse duties.
* A good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a warehouse environment.
