The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Trek Recruitment is partnering with a respected manufacturing organisation in Wrexham, North Wales, to appoint an IT & Network Engineer.
About Our Client Our client is the UK manufacturing division of a global multi-business enterprise manufacturing group.
THE ROLE
This is a hands-on IT & Network Engineer position supporting a busy manufacturing environment. You will take ownership of network infrastructure, systems reliability, and day-to-day IT support that keeps production and business operations running smoothly.
Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot local area networks, wireless infrastructure and related network services
Support servers, workstations, printers and manufacturing-related IT systems
Implement and manage network security, backups and disaster-recovery processes
Provide first- and second-line technical support to site users
Assist with IT projects, system upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure high availability of critical systems in a manufacturing setting
Document network configurations, procedures and changes YOU
Solid experience as an IT Support / Network Engineer in a business or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, switching, routing, VLANs, Wi-Fi)
Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches and network monitoring tools
Previous experience and ability to work independently and prioritise in a fast-paced manufacturing/production site
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach Desirable Qualifications & Skills
CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA or equivalent certification
Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure or hybrid environments
Knowledge of industrial / OT network considerations or manufacturing systems
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements Location: Wrexham, North Wales Contract: Permanent, full-time
