As an Electrical Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
* Designing control panels and switchgear to meet customers' specific requirements, ensuring compliance with legislative and safety standards.
* Anticipating future legislation and advising customers on product, service, or equipment adherence to requirements.
* Producing high-quality manufacturing data, including schematic and layout drawings using AutoCAD.
* Creating reports such as bills of materials and test procedures.
* Specifying and selecting electrical components for UK, EU, and International applications.
* Participating in design and quality reviews for new and existing products.
* Collaborating with the applications and sales, production, and quality teams, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
* Contributing to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues and recommending options and courses of action.
To be considered for this Electrical Design Engineer role, you will need the following:
* Experience in the design of control panels and low-voltage distribution boards/switchboards
* AutoCAD Electrical proficient
* Experience in interpreting different technical schematics and report formats, including electrical and mechanical.

* £45,000 - £60,000 (D.O.E)
