A leading civil engineering & heavy-lifting business is seeking an experienced health & safety professional to work on a large-scale infrastructure project based on Hinkley Point C. The position will be working on site, supporting the team and engaging with the client on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will have strong infrastructure experience and be happy to be based on Hinkley Point C daily. The position is permanent, and working on a rotation of 10/4
Key Responsibilities for the Health & Safety Advisor:
- Support Health & Safety activities across the project site
- Conduct site audits, inspections and risk assessments
- Supporting and guiding investigations into incidents, near misses, and hazards.
- Working in a client-facing position and working with the team on-site daily
Ideal Candidate Profile for the Health & Safety Advisor:
- 2 years plus experience working in a Health & Safety position
- NEBOSH qualified
- Experience working in an infrastructure environment
- Knowledge working with heavy plant & lifting operations
- Experienced in carrying out site inspections and RAMS
