TeacherActive is proud to be working with a small independent SEND school in Hereford that is seeking to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher. The school provides a warm and nurturing environment where pupils are supported to build confidence, develop resilience and achieve their full potential, with a highly supportive team committed to ensuring every child feels safe, valued and understood.
The school is looking to appoint a Primary Teacher on a long-term temporary basis from September. The successful Primary Teacher will work with small classes of approximately six pupils, supporting children whose primary need is anxiety, delivering engaging lessons and creating a calm, structured learning environment that promotes both academic and emotional development.
The successful Primary Teacher will have:
• QTS (ECTs are also encouraged to apply)
• Experience teaching within a Primary setting in the UK
• Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly anxiety-related needs
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A nurturing and patient approach to teaching and learning
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
