A thriving independent bodyshop with an excellent local reputation is looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled estimator who wants to be part of a fast-paced, high-quality operation where their experience is genuinely valued. Responsibilities
* Carry out accurate vehicle damage assessments and repair estimates
* Work closely with technicians and workshop staff to manage repair progress
* Liaise with customers and insurers professionally throughout the repair process
* Identify additional repair requirements where necessary
* Ensure all estimates and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently
* Help maintain high standards of repair quality and customer satisfaction
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA
* Strong understanding of bodyshop repair processes
* Experience using estimating systems
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
* ATA qualification advantageous but not essential
Salary and Benefits
* Basic salary: £40,000 - £45,000
* Monday to Friday only – 8:00am to 5:00pm
* 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
* No weekends
