We are looking for a proactive and organised Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with logistics operational experience who enjoys problem-solving, working with multiple stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement.
A key part of the role will be managing the relationship with our Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider, ensuring daily operations run smoothly, service levels are maintained, and inventory accuracy is upheld across multiple systems. You will act as a central point of contact between internal teams and the 3PL partner, helping to resolve issues, improve processes, and ensure operational excellence.
What You'll Be Doing
Acting as the key contact for our 3PL warehouse provider, building strong working relationships and ensuring operational priorities are met.
Monitoring daily logistics activities and resolving operational challenges as they arise.
Reviewing performance metrics and service levels to ensure targets are achieved.
Maintaining accurate inventory records across systems and investigating stock discrepancies.
Supporting supply chain planning activities and helping to resolve delivery and stock-related issues.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and overall operational performance.
Maintaining and updating process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
Supporting inventory compliance, quality processes, and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with internal departments to support business initiatives and product launches.
Providing general operational and administrative support across the logistics function.
About You
Previous experience within logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or a similar operational environment.
Experience working with or managing relationships with 3PL providers would be highly advantageous.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Experience working within a regulated environment would be beneficial.
Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar would be advantageous.
Additional Requirements
Full UK driving licence required.
Willingness to travel to Oxfordshire approximately once per month.
