We're looking for an experienced and hardworking Bricklayer to join our growing team, supporting a busy responsive repairs contract. This is a practical, hands-on role focused on delivering a wide range of bricklaying duties within occupied social housing properties. With a consistent pipeline of work and a strong commitment to raising housing standards, this is a great opportunity to be part of a team making a real impact in the community. We're seeking someone who takes pride in their craft, works efficiently, and consistently delivers high-quality results from the outset.

Duties:
Building new brick walls
Restoring damaged or deteriorated brickwork
Identifying and repairing cracks or fractures in walls to prevent further damage and maintain safety
Rendering full walls
Mixing and applying mortar or adhesives to bind bricks and blocks
Cutting bricks or blocks to size using hand or power tools
Constructing foundations, retaining walls, and other structural elements
Repointing brickwork to improve appearance and structural integrity
Reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
Setting out and levelling courses to ensure accurate alignment
Installing damp-proofing or insulation materials where required
Working with other trades to coordinate site activities
Maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring safe working practices
Cleaning work areas and disposing of waste materials responsibly
Adhering to health and safety regulations on-site
Applying decorative finishes or brick patterns as neededRole Criteria:
Experienced in bricklaying
Customer service focused approach
Full UK driving licenceDesirable:
Multi skilled experience in a wet trade (e.g. plastering & tiling)Benefits we can offer you
