The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

About the role:
As an Assembly Operative at Salamander Pumps, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products are built to the highest standards. Working within a friendly and dedicated team, you will be responsible for assembling components accurately and efficiently, following established procedures and quality guidelines.
Your day to day:

Assemble products in accordance with the company’s Standard Work Instructions, ensuring all quality and efficiency standards are met and adhering to accreditation procedures.
*
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational targets.
*
Support Line Leaders and the wider team in complying with the Health and Safety at Work Act and factory safety regulations, while maintaining high standards of housekeeping.
*
Undertake additional duties as required to assist the Production Supervisor in achieving optimal performance.
*
Assist in the maintenance and care of tooling and equipment.
Your skills and experience should include;
*
A continuous drive towards H&S regulations (and also any continuous improvement initiatives)
*
Previous experience within a manufacturing/warehouse environment (this is not essential, as we'll train you up!)
*
Flexibility to support other areas of the warehouse when required, meaning that a team player is required for this role!
*
Being comfortable with being a little bit hands on (and on your feet for the shift). There will be some manual handling involved, moving materials that weigh up to 12kg at times
*
Good attention to detail, ensuring that the products are fit for purpose
*
Being able to work to targets, monitoring the KPI's you are set
*
Basic numeracy & literacy skills
*
Keeping a tidy and clean work area for yourself and others within the team
