The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join their expanding Private Client Tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong tax professional to take ownership of a varied portfolio, provide high-level advisory services, and support the development of a talented team.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of complex private client tax affairs
Providing advisory services on UK and international personal tax matters
Advising on residence and domicile issues, including the Foreign Income & Gains (FIG) regime
Supporting clients with remittance basis planning, Temporary Repatriation Facility matters, and transfers to and from the UK
Providing Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax planning advice
Advising business owners on profit extraction strategies
Preparing and reviewing complex personal tax returns
Reviewing ATED returns, P11Ds and PAYE Settlement Agreements
Managing work in progress and billing
Supporting business development and networking activities
Reviewing and improving internal processes, controls, and risk management procedures
Line managing and mentoring junior team membersEssential:
Significant experience within Private Client Tax
Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance and advisory matters
Knowledge of UK residence and domicile rules
Understanding of trust structures and associated tax compliance obligations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Experience using personal tax software
