This is a fully office-based role supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function.
Role: Accounts Assistant - XERO Experience Required
Location: Dartford (on-site parking)
Hours: Part-Time Monday to Friday 9:00am - 2:00pm / 9:30am - 2:30pm 10:00am / 3:00pm
Start: Monday 19th October
Term: Temp to perm
Pay: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and process Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger transactions
Raise customer invoices and ensure they are issued accurately and on time
Manage credit control, including chasing overdue payments and resolving payment queries
Perform regular bank reconciliations
Process receipts, expenses, and supplier invoices
Use Xero and Eworks to maintain accurate financial records
Assist with month-end procedures and reporting
Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
Support the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative duties
Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping systems
About You:
Previous experience using Xero Accounting Software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Confident communication skills and a professional approach
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Ability to manage confidential information appropriately
