What you'll be doing
* Leading the commercial management of multiple highways projects.
* Managing costs, forecasting, change control and contract administration.
* Maximising project profitability and cash performance.
* Managing subcontractor procurement, payments, variations and final accounts.
* Identifying and mitigating commercial risks while driving opportunities.
* Producing CVRs, cost reports and monthly commercial forecasts.
* Building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners.
* Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team.
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within highways, civil engineering or infrastructure.
* Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of NEC contracts.
* Experience managing subcontractors and commercial reporting.
* Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders.
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent industry experience.
* Membership of, or working towards, RICS or CICES is advantageous.
