Ad Hoc Shifts | Flexible Working | Temp to Perm Opportunities Available
We are currently recruiting experienced Children's Residential Support Workers to support a range of children's residential homes across the North West on an agency basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work, additional shifts, or a pathway for temp to permanent position within a children's residential setting.
The Role
You will be supporting children and young people within residential care settings, helping to provide a safe, nurturing and structured environment while promoting positive outcomes and independence.
Duties may include:
* Supporting children and young people with their day-to-day needs
* Building positive and professional relationships
* Encouraging participation in education, activities and life skills
* Completing daily records and incident reports
* Supporting behaviour management strategies and care plans
* Promoting safeguarding and wellbeing at all times
* Working alongside multidisciplinary teams and external professionals
Requirements
* Previous experience working within a Children's Residential Home
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins where required
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A caring, resilient and professional approach
