The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Role
As a Turf Harvest Operator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring products are harvested safely, efficiently, and to the high standards customers expect.
Working as part of the harvest team, you'll operate specialist machinery, prepare orders for dispatch, and help ensure daily production targets are achieved.
This is a practical, hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors, taking responsibility, and being part of a team that delivers quality day in, day out.
Key Responsibilities
Harvesting & Production
Operate turf harvesting machinery safely and efficiently
Cut and prepare turf to customer specifications
Follow daily production schedules and delivery requirements
Maintain high standards of product quality and presentation
Assist with pallet preparation and dispatch activities
Machinery & Equipment
Carry out daily machinery checks before operation
Complete routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment running efficiently
Identify and report faults or breakdowns promptly
Troubleshoot and resolve minor machinery issues in the field where appropriate
Operate forklifts when required (training and certification dependent)
Teamwork & Communication
Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth harvesting operations
Assist with field changes and harvest planning activities
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Support wider farm operations when required
Health & Safety
Follow all company health and safety procedures
Wear and maintain appropriate PPE
Promote safe working practices at all times
Help maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
About You
We're looking for a motivated and reliable individual who enjoys being part of a hardworking team.
You'll need:
A full UK driving licence
Experience operating agricultural, horticultural, or plant machinery
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Good communication skills
Strong attention to detail
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
