We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Day & Night Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an HGV Class 1 (C+E) Truck for work that involves farm collections and deliveries efficiently and safely across designated routes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) refrigerated vehicles. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety, ideally drivers with experience with farms but not essential.

Duties

* Safely operate an HGV Class 1 (C+E) refrigerated truck in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies

* Farm collections and deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs

* Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.

* Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations.

Qualifications

* Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license

* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members

* Knowledge of health and safety standards

* Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability

* You must have a clean license - no points or endorsements showing on license

Mon to Sun - Start times flexible

PAYE Pay rates:

£17ph Days basic / overtime £25.00 - Holidays accrued - £19ph basic / overtime £28ph – Holidays included

£18ph Nights basic / overtime £27ph- Holidays accrued - £20ph basic / overtime £29– Holidays included

£20ph weekend basic / overtime £30 - Holidays included - £22.41ph basic /overtime £32ph - holidays included
