As a Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver, you will be supporting day-to-day warehouse activities while completing safe, timely deliveries to customers and other locations.
This full-time permanent role offers a salary range of £25,500 - £28,000 and benefits.
You will be responsible for
* Loading the delivery vehicle and ensuring orders are ready for dispatch.
* Receiving, checking, storing and rotating incoming stock.
* Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately.
* Updating stock records and carrying out inventory checks using Cin7 (training provided).
* Preparing product samples and arranging collections and deliveries via DHL
* Loading and unloading vehicles and completing required delivery paperwork.
* Carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting any issues.
* Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements.
* Using warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks and forklifts where required.
The candidates from the following background will be considered:
* Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Warehouse Operator, Delivery Driver, Van Driver, Driver, 3.5-tonne van driver, 3.5-tonne driver, Warehouse Technician, Warehouse Picker, Warehouse Packer or in a similar role.
What we are looking for:
Essential:
* A full UK driving licence
* Previous professional driving or delivery experience
* Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling duties.
* Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
* Confidence using smartphones for route and delivery applications.
* Basic computer skills, including email, data entry and stock management systems.
Desirable:
* Previous warehouse experience.
* A forklift licence, although training will be provided.
Shift:
* Monday to Friday, 5:30am - 2:00pm
