Are you an experienced Reservationist looking for a temporary role where every day brings something different?
We're delighted to be supporting a highly respected hospitality and leisure organisation as they recruit for a Temporary Reservationist to join their busy Reservations team for a few months.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, building relationships and providing exceptional service. You'll be responsible for handling reservations across bedrooms, spa, golf, restaurants and group bookings, whilst ensuring every guest receives a professional and seamless experience.

Duties
Handle customer enquiries and reservations by telephone, email and online across bedrooms, spa, golf, restaurants and group bookings.
Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring special requests and guest requirements are accurately recorded and communicated.
Maintain accurate bookings, guest profiles, payments and correspondence using the relevant systems.
Proactively upsell additional services, including room upgrades, dining, golf, spa and packages.
Coordinate bedroom allocation, room inventory and overbooking situations to maximise occupancy.
Liaise closely with Guest Services, Revenue, Meetings & Events and venue teams to ensure reservations run smoothly.
Manage group bookings, reports, administration and financial processes in line with company procedures.
Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally while supporting wider commercial and operational objectives.
What we would like from you
Previous experience using Protel or Opera is essential to be considered for this opportunity.
Previous experience within reservations, hospitality, customer service or a similar customer-facing environment.
Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional telephone manner.
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
Commercial awareness with the confidence to identify upselling opportunities.
Good IT skills and the ability to learn new booking or property management systems.
A positive, proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
A strong team player who enjoys building relationships and working collaboratively across different departments.
Previous experience within a hotel, resort, leisure or hospitality environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
