Business Development Manager – UK & Ireland

Your Opportunity
Take ownership of Multipanel's commercial growth across the UK and Ireland and play a key role in strengthening our position in your own territory.
Build and develop a portfolio of high-value accounts, win new business, and be the face of Multipanel in your region, with the autonomy to run things the way you know works, backed by an established international business.
This is a field-based commercial role for an experienced sales professional who thrives on results, builds lasting customer relationships, and knows how to convert opportunities into long-term revenue.

What Will You Be Doing?
* Managing and growing a portfolio of existing Multipanel customers across the UK and Ireland, building deep, trust-based relationships at all levels.
* Actively prospecting and winning new business, targeting sign & display fabricators, printers, distributors, and ACM panel end-users.
* Building and maintaining a well-qualified sales pipeline, tracked accurately in the CRM system from first contact through to close.
* Meeting and exceeding revenue and growth targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
* Delivering compelling product presentations, demonstrations, and tailored commercial proposals to prospects and customers.
* Attending regional trade shows, industry events, and association meetings to build market presence and generate leads.
* Monitoring the competitive landscape and providing actionable market intelligence to the Sales Director.
* Working closely with internal operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.

Multipanel is the UK's only manufacturer of Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) panels, operating as part of Grimco, Inc., a leading North American distributor of sign-making supplies and traffic safety products. We serve sign & display fabricators, printers, and specialist distributors across Europe, the UK, and Ireland.
Based at our manufacturing site in Eythorne, Kent, this role puts you at the heart of our local market, with the backing and resources of a major international parent company behind you.
Who We’re Looking For
* A minimum of 5 years' B2B field sales experience in sign & display, print, industrial products, building materials or related manufactured goods.
* Proven success in both account management and new business development across a defined territory.
* A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a self-directed, field-based commercial role.
* Highly organised and self-motivated - able to manage a large territory independently with minimal supervision.
* Based in the UK, with the willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the UK and Ireland (approx. 50% field-based).
* Full driving licence.
The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
* Experience selling ACM panels or sign-making substrates.
* An existing network within the UK or Irish sign & display or large format print market.
* Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
