The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you a hands-on Commissioning Technician with a passion for engineering, fault finding and delivering high-quality technical solutions?
We're recruiting for a growing engineering and manufacturing business seeking a skilled Commissioning Technician to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on advanced electro-mechanical systems, carrying out product integration, testing and commissioning, with opportunities for UK and international travel, including offshore assignments (as and when required).
The Role
As a Commissioning Technician, you'll play a key role in preparing complex engineered products for customer acceptance testing and supporting customers both on-site and in the field.
Key Responsibilities
* Commission and integrate complex electro-mechanical systems to the required standards.
* Carry out functional testing, fault finding and modifications where required.
* Support and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), working closely with customers and internal teams.
* Provide technical support on customer sites, both onshore and offshore.
* Maintain integration and test equipment, ensuring safe working practices at all times.
* Work alongside engineering teams to review test procedures and report any issues or deviations.
* Assist with product support, diagnostics and in-house testing for returned equipment.
* Participate in an out-of-hours technical support rota once fully trained.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
* Experience in systems integration, commissioning, testing or a similar technical role.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and procedures.
* A good understanding of electronics, hydraulics and/or computer-based systems.
* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* A willingness to travel, including offshore and customer site visits.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
* ONC/OND (or equivalent) in Electrical, Electronic or a related Engineering discipline.
* Knowledge of continuous improvement practices.
* Electrical qualifications such as the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (or equivalent)
