This is a technical, hands-on supervisory role requiring a keen eye for detail and strong experience in LV (Low Voltage) distribution networks within a rail environment.
The Scope of Work:
You will be responsible for overseeing and executing three primary survey streams:
* Existing LV Asset Survey: Identifying all existing equipment within the depot and providing detailed mark-ups of their locations.
* Tag & Trace Survey: Focused specifically on the existing sub-distribution network cabling.
* Ducting Survey: Leading the team to rod and rope existing external ducting; providing comprehensive reports on status and spare capacity. (Note: Groundwork/digs will be provided).
Requirements
Essential:
* PTS (Personal Track Safety) Card – Active and valid.
* SSSTS or SMSTS
* Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on infrastructure or rail projects.
* Strong reporting skills and the ability to interpret/mark up site drawings.
Desirable (Not Essential):
* 3-Day First Aid at Work.
* IPAF & PASMA (Though the team of Mates will hold these, a Supervisor with these qualifications is preferred).
Shift & Pay
* Working Pattern: Day shifts (9 hours paid per shift).
* Rate: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience).
* Team: Leading a competent team of 3x Electrical Mates
£300.00 - £324.00 per day
