We are recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support major construction and infrastructure projects within a highly regulated environment.
This role will play a pivotal part in fostering a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and industry standards, and providing expert guidance to project teams and senior stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and health & safety legislation.
Provide H&S support and guidance to project teams and senior stakeholders.
Review RAMS, conduct audits, inspections and incident investigations.
Support contractors and designers in identifying and managing project risks.
Promote a positive safety culture through training and engagement.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance throughout project delivery.
Essential Experience
Minimum 10 years' experience in construction, engineering, defence, marine or infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and H&S legislation.
NEBOSH or equivalent qualification.
Experience managing audits, incidents, inspections and contractor assurance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
Nuclear or other highly regulated industry experience.
IOSH, IIRSM or similar professional membership.
Defence or major infrastructure project experience.
Environmental/HSQE knowledge.

£60.00 - £70.00 per hour
