About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Tester to join a specialist property team delivering high-quality maintenance and installation services across a portfolio of luxury, high-end residential properties in Surrey.
This is a mobile role, offering variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work in some of the region’s most prestigious homes while maintaining exceptional standards of safety and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical testing, inspection, and certification of fixed wiring and distribution boards
* Perform electrical installations and general property maintenance
* Install and maintain LED and emergency lighting systems
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on internal and external wiring systems
* Work on single-phase and three-phase electrical systems
* Maintain and troubleshoot plant room equipment including motors, pumps, and FCUs
* Interpret and follow schematic drawings and site plans
* Liaise with and oversee specialist subcontractors when required
* Participate in a rota including on-call and occasional night work during occupied properties
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a qualified electrician
* City & Guilds NVQ (or completed apprenticeship)
* 18th Edition (BS7671) certification
* 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent 2394/2395)
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work independently across multiple sites
* Professional approach when working in high-end residential environments
