TeacherActive is proud to be working with a well-respected mainstream Secondary School based in West Bromwich. The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment, with a strong focus on positive behaviour, student development and helping young people achieve their potential.
The school is looking for a Cover Supervisor for long-term placements, with flexible day-to-day work also available. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across the secondary age range, deliver pre-planned work, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged with their learning.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
Experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A flexible and adaptable approach
A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
