A dedicated consultant as an additional layer of supportTHE COMPANY: Our client, a well-established agricultural company located just outside of Exeter, is on the lookout for a motivated Customer Service Administrator to join their small and friendly team.
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Administrator to provide essential support across customer service, order processing, product management, and transport operations, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Provide customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
Handle customer and sales team enquiries via telephone and email, processing orders efficiently and directing enquiries where required.
Set up new customer accounts, maintain accurate records, and manage orders through internal systems while liaising with suppliers and manufacturing facilities.
Maintain product information on company systems and support the introduction of new products and formulations.
Assist with transport administration when required, ensuring delivery schedules and driver paperwork are accurate and up to date.
Provide cover and support for colleagues as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a team-focused approach.KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Previous experience in a customer service, administration, or office support role.
Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly telephone manner.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience using order processing or CRM systems would be beneficial.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and proactive approach.
