The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Our client based in Whitfield, Dover is seeking committed workers to join their busy, fast-paced coordination team.
Full training will be given to allow you to effectively plan and manage time-critical logistics solutions throughout Europe and worldwide, concentrating on air freight, air charter and on-board courier solutions.

Role and responsibilities of Logistics Coordinator
* Offer bespoke solutions to clients, best fitting their needs
* Liaise with international air freight agents, airline operators and brokers to agree transport costs and ensure the best possible solutions are sourced to fit clients’ requirements
* Create AWB documents and cargo manifests
* Arrange collection of VAT and duty where required
* Ensure compliance in-line with AEO standards, including worldwide customs formalities
* Provide pre-alerts to customs agents and clients, including the supervision of T1 creation and document closure
* Understand shipping incoterms
* Utilise must ride and standard air freight rates at the correct time
* Understand all risks involved with each shipment and mitigating that risk
* Calculate air freight rates, including understanding chargeable weight conversions
* Monitor the progression of transports advising the client at agreed milestones, and ensuring the transports are running to schedule
* Escalate any delays in transport to the Team Leader
* Understand the core competencies when arranging air charter, air freight and on-board courier solutions
* Ensure non-conformances are raised and escalate as per ISO 9001
* Ensure bespoke transport management system is correctly monitored and fully updated when required
* Answer incoming calls professionally and deal with any enquiries quickly
This is an office-based role requiring you to work 9-hour rotational day shifts with 1 hour for lunch (07:00-16:00, 08:00-17:00, 09:00-18:00 or 10:00–19:00 Monday to Friday).
