TeacherActive are proud to be working with a number of welcoming Secondary Schools across the Ellesmere Port area. These schools are committed to providing a positive learning environment where high standards of behaviour, respect and achievement are encouraged, and they are looking for dedicated Cover Supervisors to support students across a variety of subjects.
The schools are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor on a day-to-day, long-term or permanent basis. As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain excellent classroom management, implement behaviour management strategies effectively and ensure students remain engaged and focused throughout each lesson.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 qualification, or a minimum of 6 months' experience working in a secondary school
Excellent behaviour management and the confidence to manage classes of students aged 11 to 16
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to keep students engaged and on task
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The flexibility to work across different subjects and year groups
A proactive, positive and adaptable approach
