The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

What the role involves:
* Working alongside our experienced team of crane engineers to maintain our modern crawler crane fleet
* Preparing equipment for painting, including masking, sanding, cleaning, and painting
* Carrying out repairs, resprays, and localised paintwork
* Identifying and rectifying paint defects and surface imperfections
* Applying high-quality finishes across all work to company standards
* Operating and maintaining paint spraying equipment and tools
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in paint preparation and spray application
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high-quality finish
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
* Flexible approach to workload and working patterns
* Willingness to work outdoors and travel when required
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare surfaces for painting to a high standard
* Mix and match paint colours accurately
* Apply paint using spray guns and associated equipment
* Undertake full resprays, panel work, and touch-ups
* Ensure all finishes meet strict quality standards
* Rectify paint defects such as runs, orange peel, or contamination
* Maintain and clean spray equipment
* Adhere to all health and safety requirements, including PPE and safe handling of materials
* Keep work areas clean, organised, and efficient
* Carry out any additional duties as reasonably required by management
Skills
* Strong team player with good communication skills
* Keen to learn and develop new skills within a specialist industry
* Opportunity for on-the-job training, including possible NVQ (depending on experience)
* Additional training may include: CPCS Slinger Signaller, IPAF, and NPORS harness certification
