Location: Penrith
Salary: Circa £40,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (40 hours per week, no weekends or bank holidays)
Holidays: 20 days + Bank Holidays, plus long service enhancements

The Role
As a Product Sales Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting customers by providing expert technical advice, identifying suitable products, and ensuring an excellent customer experience from enquiry through to fulfilment. This is a customer-facing position that blends technical knowledge with sales and service.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical product advice and support to customers via phone, email, and in person
* Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships
* Process orders accurately and efficiently using internal systems
* Work closely with internal teams including sales, warehouse, and procurement
* Support product selection, troubleshooting, and after-sales enquiries
* Maintain accurate records and documentation
Essential Requirements
* Technical knowledge and experience within an engineering, agricultural, plumbing, or mechanical environment
* Previous customer service experience in a technical setting
* Clear and legible written and verbal communication skills
* Strong communication and explanation abilities
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
* Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of supply chains and product fulfilment processes
