Key Responsibilities
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
* Complete inspections, safety checks, and MOT preparation.
* Ensure all work is carried out efficiently and to the highest safety standards.
* Accurately complete job cards and maintenance records.
* Work independently and as part of a supportive workshop team.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as an HGV Fitter, HGV Technician, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
* Good knowledge of HGV maintenance and repair procedures.
* A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential for candidates with proven experience.
* HGV licence is advantageous but not essential.
