Join Our Growing Team We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Mobile HGV Technician to join our expanding operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a field-based role with excellent earning potential, job stability, and the opportunity to work independently.
You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, and roadside repairs on a wide range of HGVs and trailers at customer sites and roadside locations.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections on HGVs and trailers
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
Attend roadside breakdowns and provide fast, effective repairs
Complete MOT preparation and defect rectification
Carry out brake, suspension, engine, and trailer repairs
Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults
Ensure all work is completed to DVSA and company standards
Complete job cards and paperwork accurately
Deliver excellent customer service while working independently in the field
Maintain company vehicle stock levels and toolsRequirements
Previous experience working as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience working on trailers would be advantageous
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Good understanding of health & safety procedures
Full UK Driving Licence required
HGV licence beneficial but not essentialWhat We Offer
