HSE Recruitment Network are working with an existing client in Nottingham to find them a new Office Administrator.

Sector: Recycling 

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 (depending on experience)

Location: Colwick, Nottingham 

Hours: Mon- Fri 7.30am – 5pm, 3 week rota for Saturday shift 8am – 12noon (at a second site 15 minutes away)

This will be a very varied role so if you are a self-motivated individual, who likes to multitask, try different things and is able to work independently then this could be for you. A friendly small but effective team awaits the right person to help strive for perfection and feel valued and a vital part of the team.

The administration officer is responsible for various tasks within the office, these include (but are not restricted) to:

Weighing customers in and out on the weighbridge, input pricing, producing tickets, and obtaining the relevant information/ID to process payment.

Reception duties, including directing visitors and customers on site, answering the telephone, organisation within the office to ensure good presentation, filing etc.

Assisting buyers out on the road with paperwork, organisation and follow up correspondence.

A creative ability to produce high quality professional marketing material and social media posts to advertise and grow the business.

General purchasing and sales processes to aid in the concept of producing relevant paperwork and liaising with suppliers and customers face to face, via email or over the telephone.

Become familiar with pricing structures and material grades to compile self-bills where relevant.

Skills required:

Must be competent in all aspects of office administration, computer skills required to use word, excel and outlook. Training provided for internal weighbridge software. 

A minimum of 5 years office experience preferably with supervisor skills to show confidence and ability to lead and use initiative.

Good telephone manner and a friendly persona a must to ensure customers feel comfortable and confident with the service they receive. 

Ability to multi-task and to stay calm and focused under pressure is essential. 

A positive and can do attitude is imperative and in return all the training and support you require to make an office environment your own.
