Our client is a leading testing, inspection & certification TIC) sector organisation who are looking to appoint an experienced QHSE Manager to provide leadership across their Fire, Air & Asbestos division. This is a brand-new role created as part of their rapid growth trajectory. The role is focused on driving quality, health, safety and environmental excellence, supporting operational teams, and ensuring compliance across a growing national business.

The role requires national travel to internal offices and customer sites. You will ideally be based in the North West / Midlands however they are open-minded to location.
Key Responsibilities
Promote a positive HSEQ culture across the division.
Support and coach operational leaders on quality, safety and environmental performance.
Ensure compliance with UK legislation, industry standards and ISO management systems.
Lead audits, investigations and corrective action programmes.
Develop and improve HSEQ policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
Produce KPI reports and performance dashboards to drive continuous improvement.
Support new contract mobilisations and business integration projects.
Deliver training and represent the business during customer and regulatory audits.
Person Specification
Proven HSEQ leadership experience within a similar organisation with a mobile workforce (TIC sector, FM, HVAC, Maintenance etc
NEBOSH Diploma / NEBOSH Certificate is essential.
Lead Auditor qualification
Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, auditing, investigations and ISO management systems.
A practical and visible leadership style, with the confidence to influence, coach and appropriately challenge people at every level.
The ability to turn performance information into clear priorities, practical actions and measurable improvement.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the credibility to influence at all levels from SLT to site based engineers.
A highly organised approach, with the ability to balance operational priorities, planned improvement activity and multiple stakeholders.
A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel nationally as required.
