To deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment support to young learners undertaking Essential Skills Wales and Functional Skills qualifications in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT/Digital Skills. The role involves supporting learner progress, delivering effective sessions, conducting assessments and ensuring compliance with awarding body requirements.
* Make a real difference helping learners gain Essential Skills
* Delivering (literacy, numeracy, digital).
* Deliver workshops,
* One-to-one support, and
* Invigilate assessments to ensure timely, quality achievement.
You bring:
* Experience with young people or enthusiasm to support them
* Engaging, inspiring delivery style
* Experience of Work Based Learning and Award Body practices
* Experience of delivering Essential Skills Qualifications up to Level 2
* Have a teaching qualification or
* Willingness to work toward CAVA / Level 3 assessor qualification (or equivalent)
* DBS clearance and EWC registration (employer covers DBS)
* Full driving licence and use of own car
