Our Client is seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Surveyor to join our team on an interim basis, playing a key role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

* Review and validate Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) to ensure accuracy and compliance

* Audit and verify the completion of fire safety actions

* Scope, specify, and issue works required to address identified risks

* Provide competent person sign-off on fire safety documentation

* Validate evidence of completed works and ensure audit trails are maintained

* Support continuous improvement of fire safety standards across the estate

Requirements

* Recognised Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) qualification

* Demonstrable experience in fire risk assessment validation and auditing

* Strong understanding of fire safety legislation and best practice

* Ability to scope remedial works and manage action closure effectively

* Competent person status (or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience and knowledge)

Desirable

* Registration on the National Fire Risk Assessors Register (Tier 2)

* Candidates not currently registered must be willing to obtain this within 3 months of appointment
