The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Part‑Time Administrator
LOCATION: Lowestoft
CONTRACT: Permanent
HOURS: 16 Hours per week (within office hours)
PAY: £12.71 per hour
We are seeking a reliable, organised and proactive Part‑Time Administrator to support the team with a variety of administrative and client‑support tasks. This role offers flexibility across the week and is ideal for someone who enjoys varied duties, takes pride in accuracy, and can work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Printing letters & invoices and preparing outgoing post
Stamping and taking post to the Post Office
Maintaining and updating XPM and TaxCalc
Managing Letters of Engagement and client onboarding
Binding accounts (with ongoing reduction of this task)
Scanning, filing and general document organisation
Stationery ordering and keeping kitchen supplies stocked
Answering incoming calls and assisting clients
Submitting Confirmation Statements and other simple Companies House submissions
Registering clients for various taxes
Trust registrations and maintaining trust registers
Credit control duties
Banking tasks when required
Running job reports
Social media support desirable Key Skills Required
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident using internal systems and learning new processes
Professional communication skills
Ability to work across multiple short tasks efficiently
Friendly, helpful and proactive approach
