We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturer based in Ely. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their workshop team with a reliable and motivated individual who enjoys practical, hands-on work.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term position within a supportive and stable manufacturing environment.
Duties Include:
Assembling and manufacturing products to a high standard
Using a variety of hand tools and workshop machinery safely and efficiently
Measuring, preparing and fitting components with accuracy
Carrying out quality inspections throughout the production process
Handling raw materials and finished products within the workshop
Following production instructions and meeting quality standards
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
Adhering to all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience in a manufacturing, workshop or production environment
Experience working with timber or wood is highly desirable
Confident using hand tools and machinery
Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
