The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the site's engineering function, ensuring the plant operates safely, efficiently and reliably while driving continuous improvement, performance and long-term asset strategy.
This is a key leadership position within the site management team, offering the opportunity to shape engineering culture, develop a high-performing team and play a significant role in the future success of a major manufacturing operation.
The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the engineering department, leading maintenance, reliability, projects and continuous improvement activities across the site.
You'll ensure engineering resources, systems and processes are aligned to support operational performance, whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, food quality and compliance.
Working closely with Operations, HSE, Quality and Supply Chain teams, you'll develop and deliver engineering strategies that maximise equipment reliability, minimise downtime and support future growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, develop and motivate the engineering team, creating a high-performance culture focused on safety, reliability and continuous improvement
Develop and implement site engineering and maintenance strategies to maximise plant availability and performance
Drive preventative maintenance programmes and asset management plans
Lead engineering improvement projects, equipment upgrades and capital investment activities
Manage engineering budgets, maintenance spend and capital expenditure programmes
Ensure compliance with all health & safety, food safety and engineering standards
Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
Manage contractor performance and supplier relationships
Support succession planning, training and development of engineering teams
Act as a key member of the site leadership team, contributing to overall site strategy and business objectives
What We're Looking For
Proven engineering leadership experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or other fast-paced manufacturing environments
Strong understanding of maintenance, reliability and asset management principles
Qualified engineer through apprenticeship, HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent
Experience leading engineering teams within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and food manufacturing standards
Experience managing engineering budgets, projects and capital investment programmes
Familiarity with CMMS systems such as SAP
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to drive change, influence others and deliver sustainable improvements
