Lorien's client - a firm with bases across the UK operating in a very busy sector - is looking to secure the talents of a part-qualified (the firm will help you through your certifications) Junior Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Snapshot of some of the duties involved and skill/knowledge required:

Liaising with more senior finance representatives, business analysts and other personnel across the business and the UK
Processing of sales & purchase invoices/prepayments/accruals
VAT postings/returns
Ledger account reconciliations
Journal / credit card / bank postings
Payment run managementWhat they're looking for:
Strong communication skills and ability to work with individuals at any level
Currently working towards a relevant qualification ( ACCA / AAT / etc.)
Ideally any skills across Sage / XERO / similar
