Power BI Developer/Specialist (Contract)

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Working Hours: Between 8:00am - 6:00pm (Core hours: 9:00am - 3:00pm)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35Salary:
£18.00 per hour (PAYE)
About Our Client:
Our client is a global organisation within the renewable energy sector, specialising in the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of large-scale energy solutions. This opportunity is based at a key UK manufacturing site and offers the chance to contribute to innovative, sustainable projects within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards using multiple data sources (SQL databases, dataflows, SharePoint)
Build and maintain scalable data models
Manage KPI scorecards to ensure consistency across the business
Standardise reporting in line with design and data quality principles
Maintain and improve existing reporting solutions
Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective visualisations
Support reporting frameworks and best practices
Ensure data accuracy and performanceEssential Skills & Experience:
Strong Power BI experience (DAX, reporting, data modelling)
Experience with SQL, dataflows, Excel, APIs
Understanding of ETL and data transformation
Ability to design clear, user-friendly dashboards
Strong attention to detail and data quality focus
Excellent stakeholder communication skills
Experience maintaining KPI frameworksDesirable Skills & Experience:
Experience in large-scale or enterprise reporting environments
Knowledge of reporting governance and standardisation
Exposure to data visualisation best practices
