Supply Desk is working in partnership with a number of welcoming and nurturing nurseries and early years settings across Brighton and Hove, who are seeking passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join them on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for early years professionals looking to support children during their most important stages of development.
About the Role
As a Level 3 Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of children in an early years setting. You will help to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can learn through play and develop essential social and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities tailored to children’s development
Promote a safe, secure, and inclusive learning environment
Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development
Monitor and record children’s progress and development
Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers
Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times
Candidate Profile
Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential)
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
A warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A genuine passion for supporting young children’s development
Requirements
Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification
Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Two professional references
