The Role

This is a unique, entry‑level opportunity for an experienced administrator to join one of the top firms in Lancashire as a File Opener. You will gain exposure to both junior and senior lawyers across the business, learning their working practices and gaining valuable insight into how a modern law firm operates.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Assisting with the collection and verification of client ID documentation and uploading it to the case management system in line with firm procedures

* Carrying out compliance and due diligence checks in accordance with company policies

* Ensuring all required information is accurately and fully entered into the case management system

* Updating case records as new information is received

* Liaising with relevant departments to support matter progression

* Supporting the New Business and Client Data Management Teams with the development and implementation of improved file‑opening processes

* Liaising with third parties regarding transaction or matter details where appropriate

Experience Required

* We are seeking an efficient, well‑organised administrator with a proactive approach to their work

* You should be confident communicating with colleagues and clients, both face‑to‑face and over the telephone

* Strong IT skills with the ability to work comfortably with a range of systems and software are preferred
