We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Multi-Drop Drivers to join our new new client based in Northampton.
Salary: £42,003
*Every 45 hours is time and a half*
The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering palletised goods to commercial and retail customers across the region. This is a multi-drop position involving the safe operation of tail lifts and electric pump trucks to complete deliveries efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections safely and on time.
* Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in accordance with DVSA regulations.
* Use tail lifts and electric pump trucks to load and unload palletised goods.
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
* Complete delivery paperwork and electronic PODs accurately.
* Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
* Comply with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and company policies.
Requirements
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
* Valid Driver CPC
* Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous multi-drop experience preferred
* Experience using tail lifts and electric pump trucks
* Good geographical knowledge and route planning skills
* Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
